HCA’s sculpture program began as a youth art studio in the summer of 2010. Over time many parents and grandparents opted to participate as well, evolving the program into an inter-generational sampling of resident art from both sides of the Antelope Valley. Five programs later, the sculpture program continues to teach the basics of sculpture and design at an accelerated level. Partnering with the Museum of Art and History in Lancaster (MOAH), residents have the unique opportunity to display their finished sculptures in the Marroquin Family Classroom giving greater credence to the excellence of their work.
